Religion has failed most of us. The word “God” often conjures up an image of a judgmental being who distances Himself from mankind. If we are honest with ourselves, we don’t always have the feeling that God is relevant to our everyday lives. But in truth, there is a God who wants the best life for each of us.

However, the increase of corruption in our societies makes it more difficult to feel the personal closeness of God – that He is there for us on a real and personal basis. But, at a time when the world is experiencing so much anger, chaos, lawlessness, frustration, and such a bleak future, God’s overarching plan for humanity is more vital and critical for us to understand and apply individually than ever before.

The Creator can be known in a personal way, and His character and nature can be understood as beneficial (Galatians 5:22-23; 2 Peter 1:3-7). We have been given a guidebook full of virtues, values and principles that encourage positive relationships with Him and with others when practiced.  Whether applied individually or nationally these lead to a promised, better future.
