Some years ago, featured on a 60 Minutes program was a musical performance, “Alive & Kickin’”. The cast was all over fifty-five. Their stories were deeply compelling; overcoming drug addiction, renewing life after a criminal past, and family tragedy. In assessing the many aspects of the body of Christ, the thing that stands out to me is that we have a personal responsibility to the body. We cannot sidestep that. We live in an environment of rapidly changing standards. One such standard is the mental conditioning that has changed what is considered “good”.   In our vocabulary, good is a positive quality having positive or desirable qualities, in excellent condition, superior to average, satisfactory.
